Remember

There is always going to be the good and the bad but never give up your dreams, goals that you want achieve to suceed. If your very passionate about something you are most likely to achieve it and by doing that its all about the action work you put into it, because "Action speaks louder than words." You choose to worry about the other negative, then you are surely going to another completely different pathway. Your dream or goals are right at the end, waiting for you.

Love always Claudia xoxo

Inspirational

One word for today, INSPIRATIONAL.
So today our school got invited to attend the Salvation Army, Red Shield Appeal OASIS and I am so thankful to actually to be a part of this with Monika and along with Mrs Mythes (Dno how to spell her name sorry! lol), a very lovely and wonderful teacher!
I actually didn't know what to except from this talk along with other schools and never realized that there were actually alot of homeless kids here today in our community. I realized how lucky I am today and the parents I have, that is why I am so grateful overall.
By watching all the documentry films and also the song, it has inspired me to actually open my eyes by helping out more in the wider community. (LOL community again hahahaa) But overall we are very fortunate. For example there are some kids since they were in a young age has actually never owned a bed before, been taken away from their parents since they were young and never got in contact by today.
The amazing job from Captain Paul and his wife Robbin Moulds is just delightful and inspirational!
I think its the time where our generation as a society where we live in, needs to start thinking about others not only ourselves. But we live in this one precious earth and we're all in this together! It's all about helping out each other and providing a positive impact for them. Not only them but for our world we're we live in.

APRIL UPDATE!

Okay I'm soo sorry for not blogging just been so busy and not bothered too but a friend of mine reminded me too and I just find it so cute cos they actually care about it haha :)

JINDABYNE WAS AMAZING!! I loved every moment and enjoyed all the fun activities that I never got to experience before. We did canoeing, mountain bike riding (I still can't even ride a bike) hahaha! Initiatives course, high ropes & rock climbing. Every night we would we have a trivia night, random activities, dance night and Jindy market!! The lodge we stayed in was the Milton lodge which is more like the white ass lodge! We had our teacher room right next to our cabin but it was all good I guess. Staying awake with the girls and talking all night, laughing to completely stupid things and going off topic. Overall I would love to go back to Jindabyne a place where it's peaceful and nothing you need to worry.

Since camp, it's been preety hectik and very busy! I had my cousin's wedding which I got to dance for the welcoming bride & groom. I danced with the Melbourne girls and I think we did good even though the music system was off and on, but we still kept going. I did a lil speech for my cousin which I actually left it at home! But I think I did alright aye haha :) I caught my cousins flowers so I'm getting married next bwahaaha nah I'm kidding but I did which is suprising cos since I'm short haha! I met alot of people since then on and made friends especially from Melb and got to know the girls very well and I'll be seeing them hopefully when I go to Melbourne in June! :D

I've been working alot in the holidays and it's back to school soon, need to study!! But that was just a summary so far :)

"Actions speak louder than words."

Pretty much today that most famous quote was stuck in my head for the whole day and since it's also my school's moto. It kept me thinking since we had our Year 11 Study Seminar and I actually enjoyed it. It was basically about getting us prepared for our HSC and how to prioritise, balance our studies with our social life because being happy is the most essential foundation in life. It's true, the key to get through to success is our 'Actions' not words.

Also makes me think how privileged I am to have this opportunity while we're young and make the most of it. Life is too short and you just never know what to expect. It may be full of suprises, shocks and you name it all. It comes down to where you should just enjoy school at the same time even though there are alot going on with school or other than that because I do realize I don't have much time. Really time does fly that quick! It's like by blinking once, I'll be doing my HSC already in Term 4 and Term 1 has almost ended.

But the most exciting events I'm looking forward to school is Harmony Day which I am participating in the Parade of Nations, and I'll be wearing my national costume representing Indonesia. On Sunday I'm off to JINDABYNE which is a 7 hour drive and I'll be alway for 5 days so I think I'll be blogging after my cousin's wedding since there is soo much happening right now! I really can't wait to get away from everything and spend time with the school girls so I guess I can call it 'The Great Escape.'

Borring life

I'd have to admit my life is soo borring right now! It's just school, school, schoool! Getting my assessment tasks done and studying for my business exams which I am aiming to get a really good mark hopefully. But overall I'm actually enjoying the school days :)

Recently 360 was held on the weekend same venue but this year it kinda disappointed me! By the fact that it wasn't that amazing as last year and suprisingly it wasn't packed as last year too! But overall it was really great seeing some faces after a while and seeing them performing too :) I've also been starting to do open shifts on Saturdays now and I actually enjoy it because the goes alot faster! This upcoming Saturday is Eman's 16th party and I'm pumped up for that haha! Just wna partaaaaay! So over schoool and then it's Harmony Day soon then comes along JINDABYNE BABY!! <3

I guess I kinda do have a busy week ahead for me.. But it's going to be all fine! :) You know that feeling when you've tried and tried but it just never seems to work out? Well I give up and I'm preety sure your reading this right now, but we both know we are drifting apart from each other but I don't know why we can't even talk it out to each other. These days it never it feels the same anymore, I'm afraid to of loosing our friendship honestly. There is alot more to say but it probably be the best for me not saying anything as you are going through an 'important' stage in your life right now. But always remember that I'll always be here for you even if we've drifted apart and so on. It kinda is sad sometimes that each day it slowly falls out and it's going no where.

It's okay like everyone says, "Live life to the fullest" And oh my holidays are coming up yayyyyyy :D

Sunday night

Year 11 is starting to really kick in and it's getting very intense! I realized how time management is really important and at the same time trying to keep up with your school work, getting things done in time. I'm trying not to stress about it but at the same time I'm trying to enjoy school too. It's already half way of term 1! I'm looking forward to the events that are coming up soon! I'm going to Jindabyne with my year so that's very exciting and that goes for 4 nights and 5 days! I'm going to have a very busy week cause I'll be back for my cousin's wedding and I have to dance for her wedding as well so I must practice!

Apart from that things are fine but hey can't complain about that! I've tried and tried my best so I think it's time to give up and move along cause it's taking me no where. I've tried already and honestly now I really don't know what to do and I know things hasn't been the same lately. I miss the good old times

Thoughts

So I guess I've been pretty much busy with school which is alright so it keeps me motivated. The subjects I do at school can keep me thinking about our lives today and for example today at Society & Culture class we had this class discussion about Kasey Chamber's song called "Ignorance". Read the lyrics carefully.

Don't wanna read the paper
I don't like bad news
Last night a man got shot
Outside the house of blues
I'd like to ignore it
I'd like to just pretend
That the reason for it
Is something I can comprehend

I don't listen to the radio
Last time it made me cry
Two boys went crazy
Fifteen kids died
And I don't know their families
I don't ask 'em how they're going
They're on the other side of the world
But it's way too close to home

I've got something to say
And I thought it might be worth a
mention
If you're not pissed off at the world
Then you're just not paying attention
And you can turn off the TV
And go about your day
But just 'cos you don't see it
It don't mean its gone away hey

We don't talk to our neighbours
They've got funny coloured skin
We see 'em out on the sidewalk
But we don't invite 'em in
We only eat when we're hungry
And we throw the rest away
While babies in Cambodia
Are starving everyday

We risk our lives
We hit our wives
We act like everything is funny
We hide our pain
While we go insane
We sell our souls for money
We curse our mums
We build our bombs
We make our children cry
We watch the band
While Vietnam
Just watch their children die

I totally agree with Kasey Chamber's lyrics about our society today and it really did got me thinking about it. Let's take it this way, all kids like us these days go to school 5 days a week right? In my opinion I believe we are very lucky to have the opportunity to go to school to get educated and we're much more intelligent than the people back in the old days. I think this opportunity we have is pretty amazing and you may not realize but maybe while we're in class learning, there a kids in the unprivileged countries that are starving to death and this makes me think back from last year while attending the World Vision Conference based on about the 40 hour famine. That experience was an emotional day for me but amazing at the same time how we can help so much and what we have to offer. It makes me realize that by being at school I try to use it wisely because it is definately an amazing opportunity to be in school and getting educated for a good cause even though it can be stressing at times. But think about it, we go to school and do our best, aim high marks and so on. Graduate high school and most of us goes to uni to complete a course and from there on we have our career jobs that equals to sucesss and we can all help out for those unprivileged kids.

As you see I'm typing this and anything can happen in the other side of the world right now and for those who don't have these useful technologies like us, we are indeed very fortunate.

I think it's time for the world to have their acts together and stop all these controvesies and help each other no matter where we come from. We're all just human beings yet with different skin tone, morals and etc. As a world, one planet we're just like a community we are one.
